We don’t support Internet Explorer 6

Well this is a first. Clicked a friends link to Instagram today to take a look at a picture and was greeted with “Sorry, we don’t support Internet Explorer version 6.0, please upgrade”. I’m fairly certain my Windows 7 isn’t running IE6. Just had to grab a snip of this Smile

    Mats,
    Were you able to get this resolved? I get the same error on Instagram and I’m certain that I’m running IE8, not 6. Thanks.

    No, I just used the latest Firefox to look at the picture.

    IE9 is running in compatibility mode – this is why the site thinks you are running IE6 due to the rendering mode.
