Microsoft remote assistance

Just have to ask if anyone of you are using this software in an enterprise enviroment? And if you do, do your users actually understand how to use it or is there a way to “automate” time limits and the e-mail address it sends the assistance help to.

  1. I am looking into this at the moment but I don’t have any answers for you yet. It seems like a pretty good thing for a help desk scenerio and that is what I would like to start to implement where I work.

  3. It would speed things up alot. Group policies should be able to roll out something like this, it would be a great help for anyone working in a enterprise environment.
    Hope you find something.

  5. To get an update for this. I’m on the 2274 MS training and had to ask the teacher about this today. There is a GPO in Computer/Admin/System/Remote that says offer remote assistance. Enable it and define the group who can offer remote assistance.
After that you should find offer remote assistance in help and support center.
